Celebrating its Silver Anniversary in business, Cannon Paddles offers a vast array of paddles for water-sports enthusiasts of all types – from the serious touring kayakers, the stand up surf paddlers, to the quality and environmentally considerate families that are out on the water for the first time, be it in kayaks or canoes. Connecting with Cannon began with its founder, Stu Lee, back in 1983. The brand has been the occasion of many firsts over the year. A value and values driven company, it designed the first aluminum shaft and asymmetrical polymer blade paddle with lightweight shapes, styling and durability starting a new era for paddles. In time, it was the first brand to produce an array of children’s models for both canoes and kayaks. For the past 25 years Cannon has recycled all of its scrap aluminum, has used cardboard boxes repeatedly for shipments and has reduced power usage over 25%. But there is much more of a story to tell. We will walk you through the different types of paddles and which one is best for you.
