Great 1st paddle. The Explorer is the perfect paddle for beginners just getting started in kayaking. The medium size blades will move any size kayak through the water. The dihedral angle design of the blade promotes balance, performance and ease of use. The shaft is made of an aircraft grade aluminum and is anodized to protect it from the elements. Vinyl grips help show where to put your hands and offer some warmth on cold paddling days.

Good paddle.

Works well for us. I wish it was a bit lighter, but for the price it’s a really good beginner paddle.

Great beginner paddle.

Not the lightest paddle but wasn’t expecting lightweight. Works great for me.

Works as advertised. I’m wishing I had bought the fiberglass shaft model. I’ll treat myself to an upgrade next year.

Cheap paddle that doesn’t weigh a ton and works well for me.
