Nokomis Hybrid 2-Piece Kayak Paddle

I have a Pungo 105 which I love but found I needed more from my paddle to get it moving faster. I found a great deal on this paddle during the holidays. Very lightweight and comfortable to use. The blades are very stiff and responsive in the water.

This Cannon Nokomis paddle compares well to my Aquabound Manta Ray paddle - in fact, it is a little better. It is the same composition and exact same weight as the Aquabound (both weighed in at exactly 2.0 pounds on my scale). The ferrule is similar too. The area I thinks it excels in is the paddle blade. The blade is longer than the Aquabound, and is also stiffer, so it gives more power in each stroke. I am writing this review because I could only find one other review anywhere on the internet. I don't know how this paddle flew under the radar, but it is a winner. If you can find one, new or used, it is a winner.

This paddle works perfect for me. I really like the feel of the smooth shaft. Definite upgrade from my aluminum paddle. I like all of the features it has and it paddles great!

Promised as advertised. Weight was correct, blades are stiff and it does feel like a 1 piece paddle on the water.

I got to use this at a demo as well as other models and I kept coming back to this one. I like how quiet it is. I really like the feel of the shaft. Recommend
